I fear I have a very specific request. I would like a thriller (preferably very intense, borderline horror if you will) that is set in a small town with romance and spice included.
One of the series I liked that is the most similar to this is the Knockemout series by Lucy Score. It included everything and I loved having the stories set in town with places and people you know. A second author I LOVE is Claire Kingsley. A lot of her books are set in similar timelines with connections flowing throughout the series. I love her writing and how homey her books feel!
I enjoy pretty much anything and everything by Karin Slaughter. I recently read one of my favorite series of all time (!!!) the Kate Burkholder series by Linda Castillo. Same type beat with little to no spice but PERFECT on the thriller front.
Just to add- I particularly enjoy books with mental health, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ representation. I know I'm asking for a lot already, but also if you could include some kindle unlimited recommendations… 😅
