I read Verity last year and boy I wasn't happy. The book left me in a weird agitation. See the story was great but it didn't deserve this poor writing skills. It looks like someone blogged the whole story rather than actually writing a book. I understand that you might want to keep it simple and interesting so preferred not to use flashy language but it felt like something teenager would write no offence.

It felt like I was reading a book out of the early 2014-2017 Facebook post. The twist at the end was great but it felt dragged with all the sex scenes. I honestly don't want serious writing but at the same time I didn't want this unserious writing. Also there were lot of loopholes and inconsistencies that have already been discussed on this sub so I wouldn't deal with it much. I think the popularity of the book is because of the final ending with Verity's letter.

I think the author's writing style didn't do justice to the story and it would be much shorter and simpler read if the language was not so Blog-like. What are your thoughts?
