I honestly don't vibe with horror novels set in the modern day (Stephen King is a notable exception), but I looove horror set in most historical periods. Think books like Slewfoot, The Fisherman, and Between Two Fires, and movies like Pearl and The Witch. Any historical period before the 1960s is fine. I'm also fine with dual timeline storyline but I would prefer novels that are completely set in a historical time period. Thanks in advance!
