hi! looking for books that are about navigating political, social or economic issues like a puzzle to solve in some clever or resourceful way. some violence is fine I just don't want senseless death and tons of tragedy. not picky on the exact setup, could be office politics or harem drama, as long as it feels like the mc is fairly competent or at least learns from their mistakes I'm happy. would like to avoid anything that's extra rough on female characters, absolutely no sa or I'm out. preference for female or queer mc, but I'll take what I can get.
