I’m listening to the audiobook version and I’ve started chapter two (about 1hr 45mn). So far, vesta hasn’t done anything about the note. She’s been rambling about unrelated things and speculating about Magda (whether she was Eastern European, what she was like, etc). I often get distracted while listening to audiobooks and I can’t tell if I’ve missed something in the plot or if she’s still monologuing 😑
