Suggest me a (fictional) book about someone moving forward in life despite not getting an apology

hi, i'm looking for a book with a character that deals with the struggle of having to move on even tho the person/people who've hurt them never apologized nor regretted the pain they've caused.

something in fiction only since i can't really get into non-fiction/self-help books. any genre is fine too but i would really appreciate it if anyone can recommend something with magical realism. thank you!
