A bunch of years ago, i read protest literature called "The Jungle" a brutal description of the horrors of unregulated manufacturing… child labor, hazardous working conditions, etc… it led to reforms in USA/ like OSHA & child labor laws.
Any recommendations of new protest literature?

If you don’t want specifically US American, *One Day In The Life of Ivan Denisovich* or *The God of Small Things*. If you do, *Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave* or *The Grapes of Wrath* are classics. *Nickel Boys* and *The Hate U Give* are more modern examples too.
