So I used to read a lot when I was younger (10-15M) and now that I’m 27M I replaced reading with other activities (gaming, gym, friends, work, etc.).
When I was younger I loved Harry Potter, Percy Jackson & the olympians, rangers apprentice, and then read independent novels ex. The Martian, the five people you meet in heaven – random books like this.
I want to start reading again and I am looking for book suggestions!
I want something along the vibes of Game of Thrones / The World of Ice and Fire in the aspect that main characters can unalive and crazy stuff happens. Dragons/magic is a nice touch, but I’m open to any kind of sci-fi/fantasy aspect to it. TV shows that I enjoy are stuff like Invincible, The Boys, House of Dragon (currently) and video games I’m playing the most right now are Elden ring and overwatch 2.
So yeah just throwing something out there to see if the community has some recommendations!
Just don’t make it anime – I’m not ready to open that door yet.
