Trying to remember a title: brewing of the dark?

Trying to recall the title of a book I was interested in but I can’t recall it correctly. If I remember it was a type of fantasy novel, and the title had something to do with the refinement of beer but not so on the noise. Could be seeping of the dark, straining of the dark, but nothing comes up when I search these things.
