I'm an adult who hasn't read too many books in my lifetime. I've read a few self-help type books and enjoyed a few of those, but I'd love to find something to read that will keep me engaged. Something along the lines of the TV show Breaking Bad or the Gone Girl & Godfather movie. I love crime, technology, and some thrill set in a more modern time period. I just watched Gone Girl last night with my wife and really enjoyed it. Something similar to that might be good. I see family reading and it's inspiring. I'd love to find something that will get me excited to read, as I feel it's something I have been missing out on in my life.
Since I don't really read a ton, I'm thinking I might need something a little easier to read. Maybe something that doesn't beat around the bush too much with descriptions and nothing super deep. I've always struggled to enjoy fantasy and science fiction, so something more realistic might be more up my alley.
