I’m getting back into reading and recently read City of Thieves by David Benioff and Beneath a Scarlett Sky by Mark T Sullivan. I absolutely loved them both and am sad that I’m done reading them because I enjoyed them so much.
I really like historical fiction but I especially liked that they were pretty easy reads but inspired me to do some research on the side to learn more about events that were taking place at the time.
I also felt like I could relate really well to the main characters who were both young men. I enjoyed the emotion in both stories and the comedy in City of Thieves. There were times I could have cried and laughed while reading both.
Any recommendations for a similar read?
