Does this even exist?
I don't know if Agatha Christie can be classified as cozy mystery but I love her books mostly because her main detectives (Poirot and Marple) are never involved romantically with anyone, suspect or police officer. I don't mind if other characters have romance or even if love is the main reason of the murder/mystery. I also don't mind if the main character already has a partner in life from the beginning of the book.
I just find it really distracting when the main character has some love story involved and it intertwines with the main mystery.
I mainly read thrillers but sometimes I like to read something lighter but still in the mystery genre and I always struggle with the romance in them.
So fellow book lovers, do you happen to know a cozy mystery without romance?
