Romance books following a friend group
Hi I'm looking for book series or standalones that follow a friendgroup, maybe with darkish themes but not too dark, I don't want it to be the main focus, mafia vibes, academic rivals/rich kids and such things. Kind of like found family? But like not all lovey dovey stuff as I do like darkish stuff too.
I've tried reading The devils night series but it didn't get me hooked and I don't think I liked the writing super much and I recently started reading The hollow boys series too but it might be too dark of a theme for what I wanna read right now.
I don't care much about the ending, it can be sad or happy as long as it's a good book (dont tell me if it's a sad ending if you are recommending tho lol)
I'm posting in the hopes that someone has recommendations, I just hope anyone understands what I'm looking for too 😀
