I just got the second installment of the 3 body problem. This one has the orange spine and the netflix sticker embossed on top (super annoying). My 'old' copy of the first book which I got only a year or two ago has none of this.
Now there were shed loads of copies back then, and I assume for the 2nd and 3rd installments too. They can't all have been sold before they brought out this new version, I noticed the spine of the first one is green unlike mine which is just 'normal'.
What happens to all of those? Wasted or pulped etc?

Either scrapped or go to warehouses and sold through secondhand sites.
