I am looking for Bible retelling fiction books. Similar to how there are Greek or Norse mythology retellings. I have two minds about what I’m looking for.
One request is for books similar to the Netflix show, Midnight Mass, in which there are strong Christian themes but the message may not be directly attempting to retell or adapt the Bible.
Another request is for books that actual use the Bible and actual Christian lore. I believe one example people have given in the past is Good Omens, but I would like other options.
I would appreciate any suggestions for either of my requests. Thank you!
