Suggest books for 9 days vacation

Hey, I want to read a book that is suitable for vacation.

For example I have read crime and punishment lately and it’s too heavy for 9 days vacation – I could never finish it or get fully into it.

I thought about „Lonesome Dove“ or „Dune“.

Do you have any recommendations?
