I love love love romance books with lots of pining that you just can’t stop reading. The plot isn’t enough though, I need the book to be well written as well. I have a little bit of time and I’m looking for a book with lots of pining, preferably YA and romance because I’m cheesy lol

Not YA but The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo is filled with pining
If you are OK with LGBT books try Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas. It’s part coming of age, part murder mystery, part romance.
The main character is a gay Trans latinx boy who falls in love with a ghost while he’s trying to solve his cousins murder so he can be fully accepted in his community.
There’s some good pining since the boy he’s in love with is a ghost, but it has a happy end.
