Since you liked Addie LaRue, Shades of Magic is definitely a good tbr choice. Vicious by the same author is also very good, sort of a modern X-Men friends to enemies, the second book is Vengeful and the third (Victorious) is set to be published in the next few years I believe. I also really like The Archived and The Unbound by the same author (though it may be listed under Victoria Schwab instead of VE Schwab), I think those are out of print but you may be able to find them used or at a library. They are part of an unfinished trilogy but I think they end in a nice place that makes reading just the two still a satisfying experience. VE Schwab has plenty of other books as well but those are my favorites. She writes for a lot of different age groups (middle grade, YA and adult) so if you don’t like one it doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t enjoy other things she’s written.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir is the start of a great quartet, a fantasy with Roman Empire vibes, and a new story set years later is coming out in October.
