I usually listen to podcasts and I’m looking for something a little different. I‘v never listened to an audio book and would love a suggestion or two to get me started.
Being honest I’m not an avid reader aside from some biology textbooks and some epic fantasy like LOTR. When watching something I usually veer toward fantasy, documentaries (mostly nature and history), apocalyptic/dystopian, sci fi, horror and true crime – pretty much in that order.
I’m a zoologist so anything animal/biology related would likely captivate me either fiction or non-fiction. I’v also been hooked on some zombie shows/games for the last while so that would be a real winner.
I also particularly enjoy British accents and usually would listen to podcasts produce in the UK – No such thing as a fish is my go to for example.

Attempted Vampirism Series. A vampire noble has his castle repossessed for back taxes. He becomes an adventurer to try and earn money to buy it back. Audible bundles the first 2 books under the title of the first book Attempted Vampirism.
The Traveler’s Gate Trilogy by Will Wight. Magic is used by calling energy and creatures from other worlds called territories. People who can draw from their territories are called travelers. The first book in the series is House of Blades.
