Hello people,
I am looking for historical fiction set into the bronze age. Especially around the meditteranean sea.
I've read Gemmel's troy trilogy, loved it.
I am quite opened since I've read Simmons's Illium / Olympes books. Which i also enjoyed (even though I was always waiting for the chapters about the trojan war…). I actually love this scifi take on the illiad theme. Makes me think of the boardgame "lords of hellas".
I also started reading Empires of bronze, son of ishtar.
Even though I am more into Mycenean/minoans/Assurance civilisations, I did enjoyed Jaworsky's kings of the wold series.
Finally, i did not liked Song of Achilles and I am not looking for feminists books about this period.
I thank you all for your recommendations and wish you a great day !
