I really want to read a book where the bad guy is Actually Bad (think bad as Kylo Ren & The Darkling) but it turns out they’re fighting for good and the MC/hero is on the side of the bad guy but they don’t know it.
Guy is meant gender neutral here, so they can be whoever.
If you watched Timeless think Garcia Flynn, like they’re doing unquestionably bad and immoral actions but it turns out their end game is for the greater good.
