Quick and pretty books for when your life is falling apart?

My life has been… a bit of a mess lately and I really just want a comfortable book with beautiful prose to get nice and cozy with.
Something short or a quick read, please!

The best way I could describe what I want would be ghibli-esque, I think? Something written well and prettily while not dealing with too heavy stressors that leaves you feeling good and happy at the end.

Some of my favorite books are The Historian by Kostova, the Neapolitan Quartet by Ferrante, Fresh Water for Flowers by Perrin, and The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo for examples of what I enjoy reading!
