Just finished the Bee Sting and there were multiple chapters where the punctuation was missing completely Imagine how annoying it is to try to read a book like that Why would a publisher not fix this Then it would be good for a chapter or two and I’d think thank god it’s fixed only for the punctuation to keep disappearing again and again
The font size and type also changed from chapter to chapter in spots. It was so hard to read.

I don’t know if this fits your criteria, but The only one I can think of was a novel that was like, four or five in a Series. The first few were absolutely fantastic, but the most recent one was an abomination. People paid actual money for what felt like a first draft. Poorly edited. Badly written, constantly changing tense and perspective. The book was called Bound By Vengeance by Cora Reilly.
Maybe it’s been updated. But I would likely think not
