I’m a person with anxiety that enjoys romance books from time to time and I use my library app to access the catalogue to see what they’ve got. Recently, I’ve been a little bored of cycling through the same books over and over, so I decided to freshen up on my bookshelf.
For romance: I tend to be a bit picky when picking books for this genre, since there’s either an unlikeable love interest or a tragedy. I do not have a subgenre I dislike, so any suggestions are very welcome in my book (pun intended).
Self-help: I want to learn how to manage my racing thoughts and use that energy into learning new skills, or emotional management. I do not have any self help books at the moment, so this is a welcome addition into branching out and trying something I can apply to myself!
