So I usually trend to litfic and love it. However this year I was diagnosed with brain cancer. I’ve had periods of more capacity where I can read as I usually do, and periods where I need something lighter/shorter – after brain surgery, during radiation etc.
Any recs? I’ve enjoyed Claire Keegan for her short but beautiful stories, Kevin Wilson for whimsical and funny but not saccharine, Emily Henry and Beth O’Leary for pure easy romcom vibes (this got me through the hospital stays post surgery, when capacity to concentrate was at all time lows).
