To be clear, I’m not really looking to chat politics here. If you think I’m dumb, that’s ok! Move on!
I find myself frustrated as some who always votes blue, but tries to vote for people more like Bernie, and settling for Joe. Now, after a term, it feels like the party didn’t take advantage of their time and is pushing us to vote for Joe again because “democracy is at stake”, yet they didn’t spend any time doing things like codifying Roe.
I don’t want to read from a super pro-Liberal point of view because it’ll feel like a waste of time, I want to learn about the state of politics and why it’s so annoying right now.
I wouldn’t mind reading this from the Conservative side as well, but I’m less interested in that because everyone knows it’s a joke, you hear about it all the time. People don’t seem to talk about it as much from the Dem side.
Like I said, I’m less interested in a discussion of why things did or didn’t happen, more interested in a book about the current state of American politics, mainly the Democrats and why the party seems so disappointing lately. Thanks!
