The Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold, maybe. There are fewer viewpoint characters than ASOIAF, but it’s character driven and there’s political intrigue.
Start with either Cordelia’s Honor or The Warrior’s Apprentice

The Honor Harrington series is excellent. At a certain point ( I think Book 9), the writer should’ve stopped.
More recently, A Memory Called Empire, is worth reading.
