Cormac McCarthy used a show dont tell method to write the Road as well as limited puncuation and no chapter breaks. Are there other books that do this so well?
“Blindness” by José Saramago usea long, flowing sentences with minimal punctuation, heavily relying on descriptive language and dialogue to convey the story. Its a post-apocalyptic novel which, like the road, illustrates how swiftly and utterly the thin veneer of civilization can erode under extraordinary circumstances, specifically an epidemic of blindness.

Fantastic book but not an easy read.
