As the title says, I’m looking for a book about mythology and folklore, preferably one about the myths and legends in the Levantine region (Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria). I’ve found plenty of fiction/YA books, but I’m more looking to learn about the myths rather than reading a story set in one. It’s been super hard to find! I’m Arab-American and just looking to connect. It doesn’t matter if it’s in English or Arabic.
Editing to add: also happy to accept books about the myths, legend and folklore of other places as well. I just have a strong preference for the Middle East, but it’s all interesting to me so don’t hold back if you know good books from other parts of the world!
