Hello,(excuse me for my bad English phrasing) I’m looking for a Thriller or mystery book with a deep and slow plot. Something with action and twists, and please with NO romance involved. Something in which the protagonist/s also don’t have any major changes in their personality, no character development etc. Maybe in which the protagonist is actually the “bad guy” of the story or at least not the “hero”. Thanks in advance.

**The Turn of the Key** by Ruth Ware. I loved this so much that I read it twice in a row.
There is an attraction between the MC and another character but it’s not romance and is far, FAR from the focal point of the plot.
