Hey ya’ll, when I was younger I used to read a lot of books but I kind of lost interest at some point. Right now I really only read manga, but I want something else that preferably isn’t a weekly updating story. I’ve been thinking about writing something myself to ease my urge to read something but everything I write down comes off poorly and makes me lost interest instantly. Hoping I can find a good book to read.
For some pointers help, I tend to gravitate towards fantasy and sci-fi (I really like the plots of isekai manga, which is half the reason why I don’t read books). I am also a big fan of romance but only when it’s a side story, but I like good resolutions (and I would prefer no smut). I like wars and battle and lots of in-depth explanations of magic/science and world building.
In terms of other books I’ve read, I love the Riordan series’s, I really liked Invisible Man (Ralph Ellison) when I read it, and that’s about it. Can provide for ang other questions in the comments. Thanks!
