To be clear, technically I could probably see a therapist. But it would vastly constrain my budget as I'm saving up for a few big things. And, until I can see one, I'm wondering if there are any good books that could perhaps help me in a small way.
The main, overarching thing I struggle with daily is SI (wishing for bad things to happen to me, not really formulating plans), loneliness, worthlessness, and also something I went through a few years ago that, even though there wasn't anything anyone could do to prevent it, have nevertheless left me thinking about it every day (family member passing suddenly).
