Hello all. i’d love to read non-fiction about the personal life of a historical figure. I’d love if it’s salacious and riveting; i want it to read more like fiction, rather than a dry textbook account of their life riddled with dates (though still be factual). i love character-driven narratives, and enjoy when people of the past are illuminated through the art of story. perhaps there is betrayal, secret lovers, ulterior motives, etc. it can be about people from any era of world history
