I started my reading journey with 'Harry Potter' and the series was still ongoing. Read all the ones as soon as they came out. Loved it. Read 'Percy Jackson's after a break because someone recommended it due to my 'Hogwarts syndrome'. To put it mildly, I wasn't and isn't a huge fan.
I have come a long way and read many different titles. I, personally, understand that I read a good book when I cannot read anything else for a while after I finish it. Some of them were:
Millennium series (by Stieg Larsson)
The Giver series (by Lois Lowry)
Some of the books that I really liked:
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series (by Holly Jackson)
The Housemaid series (by Freida McFadden)
I do not want to bombard any more books here. And I do not want to be confined to a certain genre. If any of you feel that you understand me on a reader's level, throw me your suggestions. I am at your mercy. My reading journey is at a standstill right now due to various life reasons and I would like to pick up from where I left off.
P. S.: If there is another appropriate sub where I should or could post this, please link it too. Cheers!
