Recently finished Paul Harding’s *Tinkers* and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I know it’s a vague description, but I fell in love with the sort of quiet, introspective vibe that it brought. It was the perfect before-bed book to wind down, and I enjoyed escaping into Harding’s prose. I’m considering buying one of his other books, but I’d also love to hear of any other books or authors that have a similar feel.

Kazuo Ishiguro would be a good author to check out. Also, an oldie but a goodie- Leo Tolstoy. Anna Karenina is my all time favorite and it also has a slowly meandering pace that leaves lots of room for introspection. He was a philosopher and deep thinker as much as an author.
