Can someone recommend a murder mystery that the reader can actually solve with all the provided clues? I've always thought that mystery stories were supposed to give the reader enough clues to solve the mystery themselves, and either feel satisfaction at the big reveal that they'd figured it out, or read the solution and realize that they could have figured it out themselves from the clues.
But most of the ones I've read have left out crucial information such that it would be impossible for the reader to figure it out on their own. So I end up thinking "well now that the sleuth has stated these 5 crucial facts that were never even hinted at anywhere else in the story, everything makes sense."
