Looking for a book with a cozy/dark vibe that has romance in it.

I just started getting into reading again, and I kind of know what I want to read but I don't know how to find novels like this. So I was hoping maybe someone could give me recommendations 🙂 The main things I really want to read are as follows:

• sad or melancholic atmosphere (dark academia, sad classical music vibes), or kind of gothic setting
• has a f/m love story, preferably slowburn
• female main character isn't a jerk (or she is at least introspective if she is a jerk)
• not erotica

I don't know if that's too much to ask, but if anyone has ANY suggestions that fit a few of these things I would be super duper grateful!!
