When I was young (about 12 or 13) my teacher had us read “hatchet” by Gary Paulsen and it was honestly the first book I’ve loved. In fact I’ve always loved the idea of being lost or self sufficient in the nature. I’ve watched survivor man (the show) was in the scouts for a while and the subject just intrigued me, still to this day. I was gonna reread hatchet (basically he gets into a plane crash in the Canadien wilderness with only a hatchet and has to survive) as an adult now but I feel like it won’t be the same and plus I do already generally know the story. My question is are there any good books maybe more adult but similar to hatchet where someone has to survive lost in nature/woods that someone can recommend me?
