I am desperately searching for book suggestions where the dialogue / plot doesn’t feel predictable and thoughtless!
I have read so many books (all with great reviews) and the stories themselves are plenty entertaining but I find the dialogue is just simple and predictable or just unrealistic.
I get it, it’s a book, it’s not real life. But for some reason it bothers the shit out of me! am dying for a book with some real depth to the characters, psychologically provoking.
I love when there is romance involved and it feels real and deep. a little raw and gritty- cursing, sex, whatever. Real life stuff!
That’s it. I am open to anything! I just want to feel connected to the characters and be intellectually stimulated by them.
For context, I am a 23 yr old woman just a good book that doesn’t make me roll my eyes every other page!
