It occurs to me that even though I've had ideas about corporate espionage books I could write, I've never read one.
So hit me. I want House of Cards, but with the narrator starting out as a CFO. I want Naruto set in corporate America. I want secrets that are worth billions of dollars and the dirty tricks that companies do to get their hands on them. I want lying, cheating, and backstabbing. I want more politics than Game of Thrones–and more deaths. (Or at least firings.) I want puzzles, shifting loyalties, and things that aren't technically illegal. Bonus points if I learn anything about contract law or generally accepted accounting principles.
I've never read a corporate espionage book before, so I'm fine if you give me something that is considered a retread of stuff you see a lot in these kinds of books as long as it's entertaining.
