Hello everyone. I’ve been meaning to read this one for quite some time and I want a good edition of this work. I’m not looking for a translation because I want to read this in the original Middle English. I want an edition with a good amount of notes. I’ve been looking at the Riverside Chaucer and the Penguin Classics edition but I don’t know which one to choose. What edition would you guys recommend? Thanks.

You want the Riverside Chaucer – it has the original text in Middle English with helpful footnotes for the vocabulary.
