Has anyone here had any negative experiences or interactions with authors?

It seems to be something I’m noticing more frequently in book communities and on social media.

Authors disagreeing with reviewers, mocking them on their own accounts, or jumping into comment sections.

Just last month, I received a private message from an author who was unhappy with a couple of sentences in my review. Another author started a follow-unfollow cycle on Goodreads over a few weeks after a negative review.

Has anyone here had any negative interactions with authors? Had unhappy authors reaching out? I’m curious to hear all your experiences!
