The first one is to mark my ambitious stopping point for the book, usually at the 25%, 33%, 50%, 66% or 75% completion mark in the book. The second bookmark is to mark the end of the current chapter that I'm in. The third one is when I need to pause my reading for any reason. The fourth one is for when I decided that I might not be able to make my reading goal for the day, I'll settle for the less ambitious stopping point.
