So, I have a question, recently I’ve started reading a book about a Norwegian detective and that reminded me that I saw a tik tok about a girl getting a detective book, like a detective book where investigations (or cases not sure what the word is) are written down and she has to solve them, not sure if it’s a book or a magazine or maybe I’m been crazy for thinking it exists. But mainly, I want a book where there are investigations written down for the reader to solve. Now, do these books even exist? And if so, what are they called? And what would you recommend if your read them? (I think there were several cases/investigations, written down in the book)

Not a book, but [Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective: The Thames Murders & Other Cases](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2511/sherlock-holmes-consulting-detective-thames-murder) board game would scratch the itch. Game comes with 10 or so cases you have to solve. Each case has a file and corresponding witness list and testimony. You have to solve the case interviewing as few as people as possible (in order to maximize points). Involves a fair amount of reading.

Can be played solo, or with others. TBH, I’ve only solved like 1 case with my partner. After you’re done, you’re compared to Sherlock and how he solved it. It’s almost comical how bad we’ve done sometimes, but it’s a great way to spend an hour or two per case.

    2. I just searched Amazon and looks like there a few options, e.g. “Sherlock Holmes Escape Room Puzzles” and “Murder Most Puzzling”
