Which book(s) are you currently reading & what’s up next for you? I have almost finished Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin and practically devoured it. Next book for me is Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller. Have you read either of these?

I’m on ‘Iron Gold’ book four of the Red Rising series, the next books I read will be books 5 and 6 in the series.
Once those are done I might do the ‘The Faithful and The Fallen’ series by John Gwynne.
Just finished An unremarkable body. Loved the writing and storyline but unfortunately the ending was disappointing.
I’m currently reading Christine by Stephan King and plan on reading Dawn by Octavia Butler next
I’ve wanted to read Giovanni’s Room but the wait on Libby is several months at the moment.
I just finished The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett (a sci-fi/mystery mix)—after previously finishing his Founders trilogy (a sci-fi/fantasy mix)— and it solidified my desire to now read all his books.
Currently Project Hail Mary and then Mistborn or Demon Copperhead!
I’m currently getting into Rimbaud for the first time, and strangely I’m really really enjoying his works. I’m was never into poetry, but he’s making me doubt my own literary tastes. Other than that, I’m halfway through Chéri by Colette, it’s a pleasant surprise even though I, at first, confused a few side characters.
Hi! I’m currently reading *Smart Until its Dumb*, about the AI business.
I did read *Giovanni’s Room*, for a book club. I found it incredibly depressing, and the gay characters self-hating (or hate able). Baldwin does have a gorgeous style, though.
Currently reading Tove Ditlevsen’s Copenhagen Trilogy: Childhood, Youth, and Dependency. Finishing Youth shortly and going to pause on the third book to read a book club book, This is How You Lose the Time War, before I hop back in Dependency.
I just finished the stand by Stephen King and next up is American Ulysses by Ronald white

Reading No Country For Old Men, Cormac McCarthy. It’s so good.
Next up: Blood Meridian
Currently: Let us Descend (I’m a little over halfway through. So far it’s very good but bleak and pretty unsettling)
Next up: Probably Song of Achilles, it’s on my hold list
Currently reading Remainder by Tom McCarthy. Not sure what’s next.
Currently reading North Woods by Daniel Mason and absolutely loving it – may be one of my favorites I read all year.
Listening to Pet Sematary by Stephen King on audio – it’s good, classic King, and Michael C. Hall is great as a narrator.
Up next I want to read:
Our Share of Night by Mariana Enríquez
Cold Moon Over Babylon by Michael McDowell
The God of the Woods by Liz Moore
Joyland by Stephen King
Havana Fever by Leonardo Padura
…ideally all before the end of summer (because I have a huge fall TBR already planned haha).
Currently reading “IT” by Stephen king. Planning to jump back into “Fire & Blood” by George R.R. Martin
I’m currently reading Pale by Wildbow, Pact by Wildbow, A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers, and Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. It’ll take a good long while to finish all three, but next up in line is To Be Taught, if Fortunate by Becky Chambers
Currently reading The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young and up next is Anxious People by Fredrick Backman
