Because I’m currently reading James Clavell’s Noble House, I need something to read between bouts of this monstrosity if I’m to keep up with my Goodreads reading challenge.
I’m looking for recommendations that fit this criteria:
-
Nonfiction: self-help and historical nonfiction is okay, but not memoirs
-
Interesting: you found it profound or learned something new from reading it as a layman
-
Easy to get through: uses simple words and not esoteric, eg not Nietzsche
-
Short length: audiobook length is less than 8 hours long
Thanks!
