Remembered reading a wrinkle in time as a kid today and wanted to find something more catered to adults/my current tastes that still invokes a feeling of something strange and otherworldly, yet still somewhat human. For reference to things I like, Ive taken a horror fiction class and can appreciate the more dense and classical takes of say Blackwood and Lovecraft, but id probably like something more modern and longer. Im also currently reading the Witcher series, and absolutely love the heavy dialogue, relationship driven, and politcal worldbuilding of Sapkowski. Im looking for any fantasy/sci fi that can combine elements of the literature I like with the feeling I spoke of earlier.
