i can rewatch Mad Men about 20 times… but i’ve only read about 12 books in my lifetime. i can’t pick something up without putting it down for days on end sometimes and focus on something else. not into sci-fi or horror novels. i think i prefer older writing styles. looking for something maybe with a flawed protagonist. or dysfunctional characters. something more grounded and realistic. stuff that can aggravate a reader but you have sympathy. i do know of books that I’ve LOVED and maybe you could use them as a wench for ideas ? (also preferably something not too long. maybe something under 600 pages or so)
