Just finished Cormac McCarthy’s collection of novels and I’m currently finishing up on his screenplays. Safe to say his work has left a significant impression on me as it has many other readers. I am trying to find more authors with similar prose and depth.
Goodreads suggested Butchers Crossing, as much as I enjoyed it, there were few memorable moments/dialogue. It left me longing for more, the intro mentioned Blood Meridian surpassing it as a greater western upon its release. I still plan on checking out Warlock, and Wise Blood as well.
Faulkner, Delillo, and Pynchon are on my radar to explore next. Was hoping for any other recommendations. Thank you all.
