Going to SE Asia, recommend a book set in the area (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia)

River of Time by Jon Swain is an excellent read. The author flew in to Cambodia just before it fell to the Khmer Rouge. Quite a lot in this book about Vietnam also, worth checking out to get some historical flavour of the places you’re visiting. Have a nice trip
